Recently, I’ve been hearing the Lord say “Guadalupe, Guadalupe”. He has been repeating these words each day, but today He added the name “Benjamin”.
The name of the Guadalupe River means “Valley of Wolves”, and the symbol of the Tribe of Benjamin is the WOLF! The name, Benjamin, actually means “Son of My Right Hand”. It’s a place of honor, and favor, and the blessing of God … particularly to a son.
Romans 8:12-17 say THIS:
Therefore, brethren, we are debtors—not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.
The sons of God are those led by the Spirit of God, not by the flesh. We are the ones freed from bondage and fear. We receive the Spirit of adoption, and call out to God as our Abba, our Father! We are heirs of God, joint heirs with Christ to receive the blessings of Heaven! Though we have suffered with Him, we will be glorified with Him!
By saying “Guadalupe! Guadalupe! BENJAMIN!”, the Father is saying, “Yes, the name of this river is Valley of the Wolves … but it’s a different wolf now! The river has been REDEEMED. The Guadalupe is now The Valley of the Sons of God! A move of His Spirit IS coming! PRAISE HIM! PRAISE HIM!!
