There has been a shift. On January 1st 2026, I and leaders here vavved the nation of Texas in a very strategic way. We are in a day where God is drawing a line between what was and what is to come, and where we stand says it all.
2026 is a Year of the Vav, just as the Jewish year we are in is also — 5786. The number 6 in Hebrew — vav — means nail, stake, peg and signifies to enforce, establish, set in stone. Immoveable. Unshakeable. Cannot be removed. This year we have entered into an alignment with Israel and God’s word over us. The number 8, from the Hebrew year, also speaks to the decade we are in — the Decade of Pei. Pei means mouth or voice, and coupled with the double-vav we are in, our words have an authority to doubly enforce the will of God. IF we use it correctly. Our words also have the ability to destroy (Proverbs 18:21).
On the first day of this year, then, we declared an establishment of God’s rule and reign in Texas, coming from the heart, Kerrville. Where tragedy hit on a day of freedom — July 4th last year — God’s recompense with Rivers of Life are coming forth.
Prior to leaving the Houston area, I attended a conference where Chuck Pierce, the keynote speaker, spoke of revival that’s coming to Houston. I had sensed a big revival there as well in the two years that I was there. So it was interesting that as I departed, this word was ministered at the gates.
The Lord revealed a dome covering the territory in and around Houston, and over the month of October, teams from Chuck Pierce’s ministry vavved over 400 locations, welcoming Heaven on earth, establishing these places for His Kingdom. When I saw the map, I was saddened to see that Kerrville was out of the realm. I asked the Lord, “But isn’t Kerrville important? It’s the heart!” To that, He said, “Stretch out the tent pegs” and “Stake your territory”. I knew He was calling me to vav Kerrville in a special way.
So as I transitioned from Houston into Kerrville, I was able to acquire a railroad stake painted in gold, and I knew exactly where it belonged. Upon coming to Kerrville, I’ve been connected with a key prayer team, and together with other leaders we planned the event.
It was glorious! We established God’s will for this nation — Texas was once its own nation, and spiritually it still is. We stood in the gap for all He has planned, not just for Texas but the ripple effect towards nations, globally. He is doing a new thing, and we each get to participate in His plans. Who we serve in the days ahead determines if we’re living in rivers of living water or pulling from our own broken cisterns. The results will be defining.
The next morning after the event, I could feel the Glory of God ignited in this state. Light came forth in my spirit similarly to when God said “Let there be LIGHT!”. It’s not the light of the world. It’s the light of Heaven. And power.
Who knows what’s to happen in the days to come, but we are on a trek that will lead to His ways and His plans being made known. And so much of it will come out of this humble place. Kerrville is in the apple of God’s eye, and we celebrate Him for great things to come!
