Today my friend’s son comes home! He’s gone through so much in life, and today he’s coming home to live with her. As I was celebrating this morning, I just had the greatest sense of him coming home into the Father’s arms. I could see the picture of the father seeing the prodigal in the distance and felt it so deeply for her son. With that, the Lord said, “Across the cornfield”.
His statement immediately took me to Israel, when I was traveling in a bus along the highway looking out upon fields and fields of corn as far as you could see. In that moment, I saw the corn popping like popcorn. It was explosive! But let me say it another way — the EARS of corn were POPPING! God was promising that ears would POP OPEN, and the prodigals and the lost would have ears to hear, and there’d be a GREAT and MIGHTY HARVEST!!
Oh, Hallelujah!!!
And that’s what I felt for my friend’s son today. God would be popping open his ears. He would have ears to hear and a heart to receive the things of God. I want to tell you that if He’s doing that for one, He’s doing that for many! The harvest is coming! We’re entering into it! Years ago, the Lord kept saying “Combine” over and over for a span of days. He was talking about a combine harvester. The harvest we’re stepping into isn’t going to be where you’ve got a sickle in your hand and a basket on you back. No! It’s SO much bigger than THAT!!! Can you hear that combine roaring, taking in the harvest by massive folds!
Ah! We are so on the verge of the Father’s revival of LOVE! And our prodigals are coming across the cornfield. They WILL have ears to hear!!
